General Terms of Sale

A clear commitment, transparent conditions. These General Terms of Sale define the commercial framework for your subscriptions to CSC TX services. They supplement the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

Article 1 — Seller identification

The seller is CSC TX, a simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU) with a share capital of €100.00, registered with the Thonon-les-Bains Trade and Companies Register under number 995 072 535, EUID FR7402.995072535, intra-community VAT: FR34995072535, with its registered office at 5 C Avenue de Mossingen, 74160 Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, France.

Article 2 — Purpose

These General Terms of Sale (hereinafter "GTS") apply to any subscription to the CSC TX service by a consumer (hereinafter "the Client"), in accordance with Articles L.111-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

These GTS apply to B2C (consumer) subscriptions and cover the sale of subscriptions to CSC Safe-TX services (Wallet and Trusted App). B2B/B2G partners (exchanges, banks, SOC) are subject to a specific API licence agreement, individually negotiated with CSC TX.

Article 3 — Products and services

B2C subscriptions — Trusted App

CSC TX offers the following subscription plans, all prices including VAT (20%):

Plan details

Basic (€5.99/month incl. VAT or €59.99/year incl. VAT): 1 trusted contact, 0 protected profiles, 1 alert per year, GPS geolocation only, no smart contract.

Silver (€26.99/month incl. VAT or €269.99/year incl. VAT): 3 trusted contacts, 3 protected profiles, 4 alerts per year, enriched alert (GPS + audio + video + photo), alert cascade, no smart contract.

Gold (€49.99/month incl. VAT or €499.99/year incl. VAT): 5 trusted contacts, 5 protected profiles, 6 alerts per year, full enriched alert, alert cascade, smart contract (7-day fund lock).

B2B offer — CSC TX API

The CSC TX API is available under an integration licence for exchanges, banks, neobanks and security companies (SOC). Pricing is customised based on volume and scope. Terms are defined in a specific B2B agreement. Contact: contact@csc-safe-tx.com.

Article 4 — Order process

A B2C subscription is placed according to the following steps:

  • Choice of subscription plan (Basic, Silver or Gold) on the csc-safe-tx.com website or in the Application.
  • Account creation with a valid email address and password.
  • Secure payment via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
  • Receipt of a subscription confirmation email.
  • Immediate access to the Service upon payment confirmation.

The Client acknowledges having read these GTS, the ToU and the Privacy Policy before validating their order.

Article 5 — Pricing

Prices are expressed in euros, including all taxes (incl. VAT), VAT at the applicable rate (currently 20%). Billing is monthly or yearly depending on the option chosen by the Client.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. CSC TX does not store any bank card data.

CSC TX reserves the right to modify its pricing. Any modification will be notified to the Client by email at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. The current price is maintained until the next renewal.

Article 6 — Payment

Payment is made by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via the Stripe secure payment platform. Direct debit is automatic, on the subscription anniversary date.

In case of payment failure, three (3) attempts will be made over a period of seven (7) days. Failing regularisation, the Service will be suspended. If payment is not regularised within thirty (30) days of suspension, the account will be terminated.

Account reactivation is possible upon payment regularisation. Invoices are available in the Application's client area.

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Client has fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or incur penalties.

If the Client has expressly requested immediate performance of the Service before the expiry of the withdrawal period (by ticking the box provided for this purpose during subscription), they acknowledge that the right of withdrawal does not apply once the service has been fully performed, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

To exercise this right, the Client may use the standard withdrawal form appended to these GTS or any unambiguous statement sent to: contact@csc-safe-tx.com or CSC TX, 5 C Avenue de Mossingen, 74160 Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, France.

In case of withdrawal, CSC TX will refund the Client within fourteen (14) days of notification, using the same payment method as the initial transaction.

Article 8 — Legal guarantees

Legal guarantee of conformity

In accordance with Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Client benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity for the digital content provided. This guarantee covers any defect of conformity existing at the time of delivery and appearing within two (2) years.

In case of a defect of conformity, the Client may obtain the Service being brought into conformity, or failing that, a price reduction or contract termination.

Guarantee against hidden defects

In accordance with Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, the Client benefits from the guarantee against hidden defects that render the Service unfit for its intended use, or that diminish such use to such an extent that the Client would not have acquired it had they been aware of them. In this case, the Client may choose between contract termination and a price reduction.

Article 9 — Liability

The limitations of liability set out in Article 6 of the Terms of Use apply in full to these GTS.

CSC TX's total liability is capped at the amounts paid by the Client during the twelve (12) months preceding the triggering event. Indirect damages are excluded.

CSC TX cannot be held liable for loss of digital assets resulting from physical coercion exercised before the activation of the protection protocol. The Service is a complementary alert tool and does not replace emergency services (17, 112, 15, 18).

Article 10 — Termination

The Client may terminate their subscription at any time from the Application settings or by contacting contact@csc-safe-tx.com.

Monthly subscription

Termination takes effect at the end of the current paid period. No pro-rata refund will be made for the current period. No termination fees apply.

Annual subscription

Termination takes effect immediately. A pro-rata refund for the remaining period is issued.

Plan change

The Client may change their subscription plan at any time. An upgrade takes effect immediately; the amount is calculated pro-rata for the remaining period. A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal.

Data deletion

After termination, the Client's personal data is deleted within thirty (30) days, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Evidence collected during past alerts is retained for ninety (90) days after termination for evidentiary purposes.

Article 11 — Mediation and disputes

These GTS are governed by French law.

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute, the consumer Client has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge. The mediator designated by CSC TX will be communicated as soon as effectively designated.

Any dispute not subject to mediation shall be brought before the Judicial Court of Thonon-les-Bains.

The processing of the Client's personal data in the context of subscription and contract performance is described in the Privacy Policy, accessible at csc-safe-tx.com/legal/privacy.

Annex — Standard withdrawal form

In accordance with Article L.221-5 of the French Consumer Code and the annex to Article R.221-1:
